To address the concern about the emerging development on Astronomy especially on the Rosetta project, a lecture series entitled “Catching a comet: In search of life” was led by Fr. Daniel McNamara S.J. at Finster Auditorium last November 26, activity period.

The forum discussed the Rosetta Project, a space probe that aims to perform a detailed study on the comet 67P known as Churyumov-Gerasimenko.

Fr. McNamara, an Astro-Geophysicist, gave his insights on how this development would affect the future study in Astronomy and how this project could lead to an in-depth study about space.

“This event is very knowledgeable knowing na di masyadong napag-uusapan ang ganito na mga topics especially sa aming mga bata. Also, we have surely learned a lot of things that will be good to share to our fellow students,” Angelo Miguel Angeles a Grade 9 Chemistry Club member of AdDU Highschool, shared.
