The School of Engineering and Architecture  (SEA) Tigers have reclaimed the overall championship title at Kadsipay ’24: The Ateneo UFest, clawing their comeback after the Accountancy (ACC) Griffins ended their four-year winning streak last year.

Dominating various events through winning gold in Battle of the Bands, Ignatian Cup, Star Search, and the title of Liveliest Cluster, SEA Cluster Representative Norsheena Pacamaman highlighted their cluster motto of ‘doing things with a heart,’ that guided the cluster for this year’s intramurals.

“I can see that every participants really fight with their hearts and as for me, do everything with your heart, I always stay true to that motto and that principle, do everything with your hearts and everything will follows, be genuine, be true, and don’t forget to have fun.”

Pacamaman shared that coordinating practice times proved challenging for the cluster, given the demanding nature of their programs.

“Pinaka-main siguro na struggle namin first and foremost is trying to find a common ground in terms of the availability of the students during the practices because sa aming cluster, us being an engineering itself and architecture itself kay its really a demanding course so parang kailangan namin maghanap ng time and adjustments,” Pacamaman said.

“There were a lot of sacrifices that are made in order for us to meet at the middle and I do  believe that it is because of the determination of my cluster to really to bring home the crown this year, we made it through hanggang ngayon and it bear the fruit of it.”

Pacamaman also emphasized the importance of making the most of the event, embracing the friendships and experiences.

“Aside from the medals, from the trophies, it’s really important the experience, the learnings na makuha mo dito, the friends you make along the way and also kumbaga this also becomes the highlight of your college journey so make the most out of it.”

The SEA Tigers secured the first runner-up in the Creative Series: Photo category and ranked second runner-up in the Sulat Tinyo poem writing category.

The overall ranking for this year’s UFest saw the Accountancy (ACC) Griffins secure first runner-up, followed by the Business and Management Vipers in second.

The Ateneo UFest ‘24: Kadsipay Closing Ceremony was held on September 28 at the 4th floor of the Martin Hall.
