Ateneo de Davao University will be hosting this year’s Davao Association of Catholic Schools (DACS) Sports Fest on September 23-27.

According to the Office of Student Affairs Director Theresa Eliab, the school is ready to cater to the nine sports events except for badminton which will be held at Wheel and More, Bajada.

“Almost all sports will be held at AdDU. There are also some unique features that the school offered, like live streaming of Sports Fest and Trivia Nights, ” she said.

These are the list of sports events for both men and women: Basketball, Volleyball, Football for men only, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Sepak Takraw, and Swimming.

Sixteen diocesan schools will be joining the DACS.

Namely, the Assumption College of Davao, Assumption College of Nabunturan, Assumption Polytechnic College of Davao Foundation, Holy Cross of Davao College of Calinan, Holy Cross of Davao College, and Holy Cross College of Sasa.

Philippine Women’s College of Davao, which hosted the last year’s sports fest will also join, together with San Pedro College, St. Peters College of Toril, and the University of Immaculate Conception.

CorJesu College is present as well as the St. Mary’s College of Tagum, St. Mary’s College of Bansalan, and the Ateneo de Davao University.

This year’s DACS, according to Eliab, is aimed to promote collaboration, union, and cooperation.
