With their feet submerged in cold water, aiming to get a coin from the mystery box, Humanities and Letters Wolves’ Paul Ramirez and Ejay Capoy bagged the championship in this year’s Karaoke Challenge with their rendition of Aegis’ “Sayang na Sayang.”

With their display of vocal performances of “Narito Ako” by Regine Velasquez and “Kung Di Rin Lang Ikaw” by December Avenue featuring Moira dela Torre, Ramirez and Capoy entertained the crowd with their humorous antics.

The Wolves’ representatives admitted that familiarizing famous Filipino go-to Karaoke songs helped them in achieving their victory.

“Amo lang giready lang amuang self kay kabalo man mi na ang kailangan kay mapasa lang jud ang challenge ug dili lang jud muundang ug kanta” Ramirez said.

Meanwhile, the Natural Science and Mathematics’ Falcons and Accountancy Griffins won first and second runners up, respectively.

The Karaoke Challenge was divided into three rounds. On the easy round, the contestants sang their chosen piece and faced two challenges by drinking shots of calamansi while singing with marshmallows in their mouths.

The following round required the top four contestants to perform with stockings on their heads and with water guns to make them soaking wet.

Ramirez and Capoy rendered two songs for said rounds: “Narito Ako” by Regine Velasquez and “Kung Di Rin Lang Ikaw” by December Avenue featuring Moira dela Torre which helped them advance in the final round against the Falcons.

End the silence of the gagged!
