The SS Dragons dominated SEA Tigers in the Women’s Volleyball game, while SS Dragons fell short over the CS Chameleon in the Men’s Volleyball game in the continuation of the Palarong Atenista 2014 held this afternoon at Ateneo De Davao Annex.

The tigers did not expect to be under the mercy of the dragons as they were dominated by them 2-0.

Dacutan and Foronda led their team in triumph over the School of Engineering and Architecture. They finished the first set with a score of 25-23, the tigers tailing behind.

The second set was interrupted due to heavy rain hanging at 14-5. The game then resumed when the drizzle halted.

The lady tigers, headed by Janikris May Pilar, raced to the gap advantage of the lady dragons but came out short. The second set ended at 25-19, authenticating the victory of the SS Dragons.

“We experienced miscommunication. But nevertheless, it was a game worth the energy,” Pilar uttered.

In the heated game of men’s volleyball, CS Chameleons mangled the SS Dragons, 2-0.

The Chameleons dominated from the start, ending the first set at 25-17.

Dragons tried to chase the Chameleons in the second set but fell short of three points.

Chameleon Team Captain Karl Venus said that they were grateful for the win. “Proud kayo mi na kami nagdala sa CS,” he added.
