Mera Fe Manlatican, a third year BS Chemical Engineering student, won the Karaoke Challenge 2011 in the mini auditorium last Thursday, August 11. She won one thousand pesos and received a GACP tumbler after she came victorious with an average score of 96.67%, beating the other contestants from the other year levels.

Manlatican sang Sk8r Boi by Avril Lavigne and her challenge was to sing it while eating five polvorons. She was able to finish the challenge and sang the song successfully. Luzviminda Montes, elevator operator and judge of the competition, even commented “Ganahan kaayo ko sa imong gibuhat, ang tubig bahalag gihilam-os, the best gihapon!”.

The other winners of the competition were Annafei Junsay, first year Accountancy student and Leslie Aliermo, second year Marketing student; they won second runner-up and first runner-up, respectively.
