The Guidance and Counseling Center of the Ateneo de Davao University organized a two-day Job Fair at F213 last Friday and Saturday. The event was exclusive to all alumni and graduating students of the university.

According to Ms. Leah Reparado, Guidance Director, the fair was part of the Career and Placement services being offered by the Guidance Center for the students of the university.

“So out off all career guidance [programs], the job fair is parang the culminating activity of all these. So this is assisting you in your transition from college life to the world of work,” Reparado said.

She also added that the event also provided Ateneans an avenue where they can practice their job application skills.

“This is the start of practice for interviews, writing application letters, and such. So within the campus, you can already explore those and you could test those [skills] into reality, as well as explore employment options kasi nga actual companies talaga ito,” she added.

The said job fair was participated by 104 companies, ranging from local to national and multinational bodies.
