Nine skillful contestants showcased their unique talents following this year’s theme “Lets Go Retro” for the Talentenista 2013.

Robin Tongcua, the SAMAHAN President, opened the program with a meaningful message to the students encouraging them to share and motivate others with their talents.

“The talents we will see today will inspire others to do more in the coming years,” Tongcua said.

Before the winners were declared, former Talentenista victors presented their winning performances.

Nikki Sabijon, who sang Beyonce’s popular song “Love on Top”, placed second on the said event and Erika Liao placed first with her performance of Christina Aguilera’s “I Turn To You”.

Franklin Anota, also known as Frankie the Magician, who was also the People’s Choice Awardee, presented a series of fascinating magic tricks and was declared the champion of this year’s Talentenista.

The winners were decided according to their mastery of skills, stage appearance, their “x-factor”, and audience impact.
