More than the stunning ‘glitz and glamour’ that Foto Modelo Ateneo: Three-way Runway was perceived, it is also an event-for-a-cause.
In partnership with Ecoteneo (Ateneo’s Ecology Advocacy), the creations of designer from each divisions were made out of recyclable materials to showcase social involvement.

It was also for the sake of charity to reach two beneficiaries. One is Talikala, an organization advocated in helping prostituted women and their children. The other are the students of San Agustin Elementary School of Island Garden City of Samal.

Nine divisions competed on the event with each team having a photographer, a pair of models, and the new addition to the competition: a designer.

Participating divisions were: Accountancy (ACC); Business and Management (BM); Computer Studies (CS); Humanities and Letters (HumLet); Natural Sciences and Mathematics (NSM); School of Education (SOE); School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA); School of Nursing (SON); and, Social Sciences (SS).

Judges Silverio Anglacer, Paul Borromeo, Fila Hidalgo, Christine Munda, and JM Santillan came up with the following winners:
