The Ateneo fiesta 2011 ended yesterday with one of the most awaited competitions in the three day celebration, the Sayawtenista.

The number of Ateneans who gathered in the Covered Court showed their deep support for their respective divisions.

This year, the Ateneans exhibited their dancing prowess while moving to the beat of iconic performers, namely, Michael Jackson (Computer Studies Division), Gary Valenciano (Business and Management Division), Madonna (Natural Science and Mathematics Division), The Pointer Sisters (College of Nursing), Queen (College of Engineering and Architecture), Jennifer Lopez (Humanities Division), Gloria Estefan (Accountancy Division), Ricky Martin (Social Sciences and Education Division), and Aqua (Philosophy Division).

The Accountancy Division, with their colorful props, costumes, and stunning dance moves to boot, won 2nd runner-up. The College of Engineering and Architecture also emerged as winners by winning 1st runner-up. The electrifying and utterly outstanding performance of the College of Nursing made them the champions of this year’s Sayawtenista.
