The Campus Club Organizations (CCO) launched this year’s Gimikan with their 24 booths to entertain and cater the interests of students in the 65th Ateneo de Davao University at the Thibault grounds.

“More diversity of activities because I’m amazed how the different clubs thought of the activity. It’s very unique, very new, and very fresh,” said Hitesh Dhanwani, Chairperson of the CCO when asked on what the edge of this year’s Gimikan is.

Clubs and organizations in the university such as the NWC (Nature Watch Club), Salem, FEAT (Future Educators of Ateneo), AACTS (Association of Accounting Technology Students), AISEC , CYA (Christ’s Youth in Action), PIGLASAPAT, Reacher’s, JPIA (Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants), SAMAPULA (Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral ng Agham Pampulitika ng Ateneo) and others opened up their respective booths at the Thibault grounds and at the Gazebo.

Love knots, Minute to Win It, Pop the Balloon, Bounce my balls, Karaoke, and Chill-out are just some of the fun gimmicks and events presented at this year’s Gimikan.

“Lingaw kaayo siya uy! Daghan man gud ug events na pwede mu-cater sa mga students (It’s really fun! It’s because there are a lot of events that can cater the student)”, said Jessa Mae Suico, a 2nd year Political Science student.
