A mass for the dead was celebrated on November 19, 2013 from 8:50 to 10:00 a.m. It was held at the Dott’s Park, Ateneo de Davao University.

The main presider was Fr. Erwin Torres, DCT. His homily was mainly about commemorating the dead.

“When we remember the dead, we also remember the living for it is the good works of the dead that the living must learn to do,” Fr. Torres stated.

It was additionally emphasized that the said mass was an opportunity to pray for the recent calamities experienced by the Philippines.

Inclusive of the mass celebration is a solidarity prayer to remember the departed especially the victims and survivors of the earthquakes in Cebu and Bohol and of super typhoon Yolanda.
