Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU) takes the 18th spot out of 72 countries as the best university in the Philippines for international students, according to the 2023 rankings of StudyAbroadAide.com.

According to StudyAbroadAide.com University Database Lead Roxanne Naguinlin, their rankings for best universities are based on the institution’s academic reputation, international student population, and total enrollment as the significant factors.

“We are well aware of the university’s welcoming disposition towards international students, which was evident in the well-written pages for international student admissions,” Naguinlin said.

For the past year, their site – which includes AdDU’s dedicated page, has over 500,000 views.

Among the institutions recognized by the site is the fellow Loyola School, Ateneo de Manila University, which notched the first spot. University of the Philippines Diliman, University of Santo Tomas, De La Salle University, and Mapua University were among those who completed the top 5.

The Ateneo Internationalization for Mindanao office is vital in aiding international students in AdDU to have an inclusive and enriching educational experience, as their office “bridges local and international contexts through intercultural encounters and transformative dialogue towards deeper awareness of our shared humanity.”

Linking students around the globe, the university’s F2F+ learning modality launched this academic year, aiming to bring a future-proof and flexible learning environment that is fostered amongst students worldwide.

AdDU, one of the most prestigious universities in the Southern Philippines, offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs ranging from business, arts, social sciences, health sciences, natural sciences, engineering, and more.

StudyAbroadAide.com, a South Korea-based institution centered on providing a platform for students to choose the best university for them, is notable for its educational rankings, giving valuable insights into universities that welcome and support students interested in studying abroad.
