The candidates for the upcoming SAMAHAN Central Board elections were finally introduced to the public as the Commission on Elections of Ateneo de Davao University held the Launching of Candidates last Monday, activity period at the Roxas Field.

The activity sought to provide the aspiring leaders a common opportunity to introduce themselves and their platforms. All candidates from the different parties as well as those running independent were given one minute to speak.

The event livened up as supporters from the different parties paraded towards the field while carrying balloons and tarpaulins. Cheers and drum beats were blasted as the different aspirants gave their speeches onstage.

The event will be followed by the presidential debates to be held on Monday, January 20 at F213.
