 Freebies

After the ceremony, students took huge boxes of colognes, chocolates, crackers, a powdered juice, and some drawstring bags in a frenzy. A student, who asked not to be named, said that when it was announced that they should stay until the end of the program to receive some giveaways, they thought it was the signal to get it.

“At first I was hesitant because we might get caught and reprimanded. I felt guilty for a while but as I saw people doing the same and that later on people kept telling that ‘Okay lang yan sponsor natin ‘yan, for all yan’ so we all enjoyed eating and sharing it in the end,” one of the students who took a box of chocolates told Atenews.

 Asthma-Attack

Everyone’s attention soon shifted at the center of the quadrangle as a student from the ACC Griffins had an asthma attack few minutes after the lights were turned off. Some staff from Ateneo Student Security Force (ASSF), Philippine Red Cross, and school clinic readily responded to the situation accordingly.
