The making of authentic Atenean music continues as the 27th Awitenista was launched at the Roxas grounds last September 27.
A total of four bands played and serenaded the Ateneans with their own compositions and a cover of a song.
For years, Awitenista has been producing authentic music and fulfilling the dreams of all aspiring Atenean songwriters and music enthusiasts.
The soft launching formally opened the 27th Awitenista, Ateneo de Davao University’s biggest musical event. It is an annual songwriting competition produced by Kalasag – Ang Taunang Aklat ng Ateneo de Davao University.
The launching also calls for the next batch of Awitenista production staff who are willing to commit their time and effort in making the event successful.
Deadline of Awitenista production staff application forms will be on November 8. The song entries it will have its deadline on November 15.
