The first day of the 2015 Palarong Atenista kicked off with the playing of the games simultaneously, a different twist compared to the previous Palaro. Games were held from 8 AM to 12 noon for the morning set, and 1 PM to 5 PM for the afternoon set.

For the first game of women’s volleyball, the Business and Management Vipers won against the faculty by default.

The next game featured the Business and Management Vipers once again, as they won their matchup against the Social Sciences Dragons with the scores of 25-19 and 25-18 in two sets, respectively.

Shortly after, the School of Education Sharks clamped their jaws tight on the Natural Sciences and Mathematics Falcons and won their contest with the scores of 25-17 and 25-20 in two sets, respectively.

The last game was fought with teeth bared as the School of Engineering and Architecture Tigers clashed with the Humanities and Letters Wolves. The Tigers won in two sets with the scores of 25-19 and 25-17, respectively.
