November 30, 2015 – The Fr. Martinez Sports Complex at Ateneo de Davao University Matina Campus was filled with loud cheers from the crowd in support to their division players for the 3rd day of the Palaron Atenista 2015.

The game between the School of Education Sharks and Faculty Lions first kicked off in the afternoon set of the women’s volleyball.

The first set was a tight fight between the two teams trying to defeat the other. However, it was the Education Sharks who went up against the Lions with a score of 24-26.

The Lions tried to dominate in the second set of the game yet failed to steal victory from the opponent. At the end of the set, it was the Sharks who was concluded the winner. 25-20.

On the last game of the day, the Lady Tigers from the School of Engineering and Architecture ran over the Social Sciences Dragons. The Tigers started out strong and won the first set of the game by 25-19. In the first half of the second set of the game, the Tigers still dominated with a 10 point lead.

The crowd from the Social Sciences Division cheered some more when the Lady Dragons tried to catch up with the scores of their rival. However, the Lady Tigers did not lost their rhythm and gave out amazing defenses and spikes that ascended them to victory in the 2nd game with a score of 25-18.

When asked about the game, Lady Tiger Team Captain Dannah Decio, “Okay siya for us pero naga-duel parin kami sa past na game kasi talo kami sa B&M”

Moreover, it was Communication in the court and their defense were the key to their victory against the Dragons.
