A suspiciously parked bus near the Ateneo de Davao University caused alarm among bystanders and students.
Authorities suspected possible explosives planted inside the bus.
“…pag-gawas namo, na’y nag-alerto sa akoa nga ang among sakyanan naa’y bomba,” Atty. Alanixon Selda, the Municipal Administrator of Sindangan, stated.
The bus is a property of the Municipal of Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte. Earlier this afternoon, the passengers of the bus were at a UNICEF seminar at the Marco Polo Hotel. They were aware of the investigations but were unaware of the cause.
Investigations proved that the bomb threat was false.
The university temporarily forbade exit at the Roxas gate as extra precaution to ensure the safety of the students.
