The SAMAHAN Central Board (SCB) welcomed the old and new students to the university with bright lights and smiling faces for the school year 2016-2017.

The event started with the school’s different divisions participating in a parade around the school grounds. Afterwards, the participants settled at the Arrupe Hall.

SAMAHAN president John Chin then gave a speech to introduce the SAMAHAN’s new outlook.

“This year, SAMAHAN is breaking through. Together with all the SAMAHAN, we will be breaking through. Tatayo tayo bilag isang matatag na SAMAHAN,” he said.

The new SCB and SAMAHAN Committee Heads were also introduced during the said program.

SAMAHAN Secretary General Dexter Jake Villarosa then led the Pledge of Commitment.

University President Fr. Joel E. Tabora, SJ also gave out his message through a short video presented during the event.

Raffles along with question and answer portions were also held during the event. Free food was also given out.

To conclude the ceremony, the crowd participated in a community dance set up by the SCB.
