Psychology students of the Ateneo de Davao University gathered at Rodriguez Hall last Feb. 1 to celebrate the start of Psychology Days 2017.

Running from Feb. 1 to 4, the celebration features several events aimed at bringing the school’s Psychology department closer, including a Quiz Bowl, Psych Invasion, Teacher Talks, Family Feud, and a Chill-out Night.

The event opened with an exhibit of famous psychologists and their notable contributions to the field of psychology. After the opening program, a quiz bowl was held at the Multi-Purpose Room at the 2nd floor of the Community Center of the First Companions.

Samahang Mag-Aaral ng Sikolohiyang Filipino (SAMASIKOFIL) Public Relations Officer Ralph Zorilla touched on what the Psych Days is all about.

“Basically, Psych Days is the celebration of the growth of the discipline itself, and of the psychology majors,” he said.

Social Sciences Representative Roberto Zamora, Jr. expressed his hopes for the event.

“I believe that SAMASIKOFIL prepared the event well. I hope that the Psychology students will enjoy the event and that they will achieve the goals they had in mind in organizing the Psych Days,” he said.
