The day was just beginning, but the participating teams already had their game faces on. Another set of intense matches were up last Nov. 30 at Fr. Martinez Sports Complex Ateneo de Davao Matina Campus.

The Social Sciences Dragons clawed over the Faculty Lions on the first game. The first set was a close fight with scores of 23-25 in favor of the Dragons. On the second set, the Lions worked their way to even up the series, as they won against the Dragons with scores of 25-20. The Dragons, with their increased efforts, took the final set over the Lions 25-17.

The Business and Management Vipers, once again, proved their worth as they hissed success over the Computer Science Chameleons. On the first part of the first set, the Chameleons worked hard to overthrow the Vipers, but on the latter, the Vipers still won with scores of 25-18. Although Chameleon libero Roland Enrique Jr. was injured by the second set and bled in his chin, the Chameleons still soldiered on and competed in the game, but the Vipers were simply too much and beat the Chameleons 25-18.

Because of the lack of players, the School of Nursing Panthers won by default over the School of Education Sharks.

The Humanities and Letters Wolves roared over the Natural Sciences and Mathematics Falcons on the last game of the morning. The Wolves got the best of the Falcons in the first set, winning with a score of 25-1. On the second set, the Falcons enhanced their performance and the game became intense, but the Wolves still defeated the Falcons 25-21, completing their 2-0 sweep.

End the silence of the gagged!
