For the second day of their club opening program, the Campus Clubs Organization (CCO) hosted the Clash of the Clusters last Friday, July 8, at the Arrupe Hall of the Ateneo de Davao University.

The said program featured representatives from different clubs and clusters as they competed in a trivia game with the theme of “Batang 90’s.” The competition had three levels: easy, medium, and hard. Among the 1990s topics involved were Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z, and local television.

In a tight race with the Business and Management cluster, an “outsider” group composed of Christopher Cahinta, Mitz Casianan, Rigil Collado, and Remely Casia won. The term “outsider” refers to a group not representing any specific cluster.

When asked about how it felt to win the competition despite joining on short notice, Collado answered that it was exciting.

“Syempre, lami sa feeling kay gipaapil lang mi diri to act as fillers due to the lack of participants. So to actually win the whole thing is amazing,” he said.

The Clash of the Clusters event was held on the second day of the 3-day CCO club opening event. The awarding ceremony for the event entitled “The Last Voyage” will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016.
