Nov. 21 – The Humanities and Letters Lady Wolves clashed against the Computer Studies Lady Chameleons in the women’s basketball division, while the Social Science Dragons went up against the School of Nursing Panthers in the men’s basketball division games earlier today at the Ateneo Annex.

The HumLet Wolves overpowered the CS Chameleons by 8 points, winning 15-7. Maria Aimee Cariño led the pack as she scored 13 points.

Cariño also had two 3-pointers, including a three-point buzzer beater to end the game.

The SoN Panthers, on the other hand, lost to the SS Dragons, 59-33.

Dragon Rene B. Marte, Jr., cco-Captain of the Dragons, started the barrage with a long ball. The Dragons never looked back and led the entire game.

Marte proudly said that he felt good about winning and that it was a good start for the season as it would serve as a motivation for them.

“Kasi we believe that hard work beats talent so we correct the little things na kulang namin sa defense pati sa offense. We bond together as a team para mag-improve kami everyday,” he added.
