Biography
Senator Koko Pimentel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Ateneo de Manila University and a Bachelor of Laws from University of the Philippines. He took 1st Place in the 1990 Philippine Bar Examinations.
Pimentel began working as a lawyer in 1990, and was commissioner (representing Mindanao) on the National Youth Commission from 1995-98. Since 2006 he has been a professorial lecturer from MBA-JD Consortium, De La Salle Professional Schools & Far Eastern University Institute of Law.
Senator Aquilino Pimentel III ran for Senator in the 2007 elections but was only allowed to serve his 6 year term last August 19, 2011 since he was only declared as the true winner by the SET (Senate Electoral Tribunal) recently. This will not deter Senator Koko to serve the public in the best and hardest way he can.
He is called by many as “Ang kalaban ng pandaraya.”
