Together with different the different varsity teams of the school, the Ateneo de Davao University’s (ADDU) Athletics Office opened the 3rd Women’s Basketball Tournament last May 30, 2016.
The opening will be followed by the game proper which will be held from June 1-4. It will take place at the fourth floor of the Martin Hall at the Ateneo de Davao University Jacinto Campus.
The College Women’s Basketball Varsity has been organizing the annual inter-collegiate tournament since 2014. This year, the organization was able to invite student-athletes from schools across the country such as Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU), De La Salle University (DLSU), Xavier University (XU-ADC) – Ateneo de Cagayan, and Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC).
The AdDU athletics community said that it aims to advocate sports as “a vehicle for peace and empowerment in Mindanao and around the country.”

8:30 – 10:30 ADDU v. XU – ADC
10:30 – 12:30 ADMU v. HCDC
1:30 – 3:30 XU – ADC v. DLSU
3:30 – 5:30 HCDC v. ADDU

10:30 – 12:30 ADDU v. ADMU

The tournament games are open to all members of the Ateneo community.
