The Administrative Associates and Non-Teaching Personnel 4th Annual General Assembly and Teambuilding Activity: Tambayayong 2016 kicked off last July 23, at Fr. Martinez Sports Complex Ateneo de Davao University—Matina Campus.

The two-day gathering, organized by the Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO) started with a mass which Fr. Archimedes Lachica S.J. presided. Messages from Non-Teaching Staff (NTS) Union President Vilma Dela Cruz and University President Fr. Joel Tabora S.J. were then delivered following the mass.

The Assistant Dean for Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Fr. Antonio Basilio S.J., Ph.D discussed about the life of St. Ignatius and the Jesuit Mission. Meanwhile, the coordinator of the Matteo Ricci Mandarin Program, Dr. Maricar Gay Panda, Ph.D, focused on Business Correspondence and Communication.

Karlene April Enriquez and Marianorben Bajao concluded the event through their presentations which tackled Healthy Work Life & Work Balance and Working in Teams, respectively. Finally, the HR Goals and Programs were highlighted by HRMDO head Atty. Niceforo Solis Jr.

On the second day, the event were filled with fun and games with six teams competing for different activities.

According to Solis, the event was a success. He also added that it was an opportunity for personnel from other departments to know their counterparts from other departments since this is the first teambuilding activity they have had in a long time.

Evtri Tabanguil, a personnel from Physical Plant Office (PPO), thought that the HR did a good job regarding the event.

“It was enjoyable. It helped us meet and mingle with other co-workers and it was a huge success because there was a huge turnout and the organizers saw to it that everyone had an event to participate in,” he said.
