Six letter senders shared their stories, and seven bands sang to the theme of this year’s Musikahan 2015 yesterday, which played to the theme of “Kwentong Forever”.

SAMAHAN Communications (SAMAComm), the event’s organizer, divided the stories and the bands to interpret the “six kinds of forever”: Forever Umaasa, Forever Kaibigan, Forever Iniiwan, Forever Second Choice, Forever Tanga, and May Forever.

The bands Carozcaldo, Salt and Pepper, Cheroni, Chicken Sandwich, Shark’s Fin Dumplings, ACC 5, and Thea and the Chieftains played love songs trying to tell a version of “forever”.

The letter senders did not reveal their real names and gave aliases instead. Among the letter senders are Drei from Business and Management (BM), Heir from Accountancy, Anne from Engineering and Architecture (EA), Quartz from Accountancy, Bi from BM, and Bubble from CS.

During the Open Jam session, five bands played: Noise Affair, Our Hour Late, Bubble Gum, Live Sessions, and Next Option.

Jufil Pacatang, one of the vocalist of one of the bands, asked a Camille Pasco to be his girlfriend on stage.

“Nakakita dyud sila ug forever”, Nikko Zamorra, one of the hosts, said.

People at the back rows stood on their chairs trying to glimpse of Pasco crying out of overflowing emotions.

SAMAComm gave a prize to one of the couples at Musikahan. JC and Darla won the award.

Before and during the event, the hosts asked questions and gave gift certificates as prizes for those who were willing to answer.
